A Welcome To Our School
Welcome To Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School
On behalf of all at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, I would like to welcome you to our growing school, a Christ-centred learning community where all are asked to serve one another and God through Love, Faith and Hope.
At Sacred Heart, we aim to give every child the best possible experience of primary school and prepare them for the next stage of their academic and spiritual journey.
We are very proud of our school and the commitment of pupils, staff, governors and parents in ensuring a constantly developing learning environment that aims to deliver the best possible provision. As a Catholic school, we are inspired by the spirit of Christ, and place Christ at the centre of everything we do. Education at Sacred Heart is rooted in the Gospel values and we seek to nurture the full development of each child who is made in God’s image and is uniquely loved by God.
Sacred Heart is a rapidly evolving primary school which was formed in September 2019 after the closure of the previous independent school run by the Daughters of Divine Charity. The school is located in the heart of Swaffham and aims to be a school that serves its whole community. Our pupil numbers are increasing each year and we are very excited by the school's future!
Sacred Heart has a unique school site that offers a lot of outdoor space as well as a large sports hall which will provide a number of opportunities for our pupils to participate in extra curricular activities. We are well supported by our parish priest, Father Mark, and the Diocese of East Anglia and the Local Authority, who have helped develop the school significantly over the last few years.
We hope you enjoy looking at our website, which aims to give you a feel for our school, as well as providing up-to-date information for parents, pupils and the wider community. Please feel free to contact us with any queries.
If you are considering Sacred Heart for your child and would like to visit the school, we would be delighted to show you around.
